Summary
Key takeaways
- Agentic AI conferences are most valuable when they focus on production systems rather than high-level demonstrations or generic AI strategy.
- The strongest events for agent builders tend to cover architecture, evaluation, observability, long-running workflows, tool use, memory, and recovery from failure.
- AI Engineer World’s Fair is one of the best choices for teams shipping AI agents because it combines agent engineering with broader production AI topics such as inference and evaluation.
- Interrupt by LangChain is particularly relevant for teams already running agents in production and looking to improve evaluation, observability, orchestration, and reliability.
- AI Agent Conference stands out because agentic AI is the main subject of the event rather than one track inside a broader AI conference.
- AI Engineer Europe is a strong option for European engineering teams that want technical agent content without traveling to the United States.
- NVIDIA GTC is more relevant when the agent roadmap depends heavily on inference infrastructure, GPU capacity, latency, or edge deployment.
- World Summit AI and similar enterprise events are better suited to AI leaders, buyers, and strategy teams than to engineers looking for deep implementation detail.
- Conference selection should depend on the attendee’s actual goal: architecture, tooling, evaluation, infrastructure, research, buying, or executive networking.
- The best event is not necessarily the largest one; smaller specialist conferences can deliver more practical value when their audience is concentrated around production agent systems.
When this applies
This applies when a company is actively building, evaluating, or scaling AI agents and wants to choose conferences that provide practical value for that roadmap. It is especially relevant for AI engineers, CTOs, engineering managers, platform teams, and AI product leaders working on tool-using agents, multi-step workflows, orchestration, evaluation, observability, memory, RAG, MCP, or production LLM systems. It is also useful when deciding whether to attend a specialist agent event, a broader AI engineering conference, an infrastructure summit, or an executive AI event.
When this does not apply
This guide is less useful when the main goal is academic machine learning research unrelated to agent systems, general enterprise networking, or basic introductory AI education. It also does not mean that every event with an agentic AI track will provide deep implementation content. If the team only needs training in one specific framework or tool, a focused workshop, documentation, or vendor training program may provide better value than a large conference.
Checklist
- Define the main reason for attending: architecture, evaluation, observability, tooling, infrastructure, research, or business development.
- Check whether agentic AI is a core theme of the event or only one small track.
- Review the agenda for production topics such as retries, memory, tool use, long-running workflows, and failure recovery.
- Look for sessions on agent evaluation rather than relying only on model benchmarks.
- Check whether observability, tracing, and debugging are covered in depth.
- Prioritize events with speakers who operate real agent systems in production.
- Choose AI Engineer World’s Fair or AI Engineer Europe when broad agent engineering is the priority.
- Consider Interrupt when LangGraph, LangChain, evaluation, and production orchestration are especially relevant.
- Consider AI Agent Conference when you want an event focused almost entirely on autonomous and agentic systems.
- Choose NVIDIA GTC when inference infrastructure and GPU economics are central to the agent roadmap.
- Use executive events such as World Summit AI when buying, partnerships, and enterprise adoption matter more than code-level sessions.
- Compare ticket price with travel, accommodation, and time away from engineering work.
- Check whether recordings or virtual access can provide most of the technical value at lower cost.
- Plan specific people, vendors, frameworks, or questions to investigate before arriving.
- Evaluate the conference afterward based on decisions improved, systems changed, hires made, or partnerships created.
Common pitfalls
- Choosing an event because it uses the term agentic AI without checking how much of the agenda is actually technical.
- Sending engineers to executive-heavy conferences where most sessions focus on strategy and vendor marketing.
- Attending broad AI events when a specialist agent conference would provide deeper implementation value.
- Focusing on agent demos instead of evaluation, observability, security, and failure recovery.
- Assuming a large attendee count automatically means higher value for engineering teams.
- Ignoring smaller events such as Interrupt or AI Agent Conference because they have less mainstream visibility.
- Choosing a conference without matching it to the current stage of the agent roadmap.
- Paying for travel before confirming dates, agenda quality, and relevant speakers.
- Trying to attend too many sessions instead of prioritizing a focused set of technical talks and meetings.
- Returning from the event without converting lessons into architecture changes, evaluation tests, experiments, or concrete engineering decisions.

How to read the calendar
Date published means the organizer or an official institution lists the dates. Save the date means other details are still developing. Corroborated identifies the one entry supported by a participating company’s page because the organizer page could not be rechecked. Past edition identifies an event that has already happened. Registration status is separate from date status: an announced event may be sold out.
Dates are local to each event. Online access is shown only when the source advertises it. Check the exact pass, venue, and cancellation terms before booking. Organizer forecasts for attendance or exhibitors are not used to rank events.

What the Uvik Software calendar shows
Uvik Software calendar snapshot. The 34 selected 2027 editions include 15 in Europe, 14 in North America, four in Asia, and one online-only. Eight start in March and seven in February. Each city edition counts once, and events spanning two months are assigned to their starting month. These figures describe this curated calendar, not the global conference market.
February and March have the densest schedules in this calendar. Compare overlapping events before committing speakers or travel budgets.
| Dates to compare | Conflict or sequence | Planning implication |
|---|---|---|
| 9-10 Mar 2027 | Paris AI Agent Summit overlaps HumanX Las Vegas | Choose focused European agent adoption or broader US enterprise networking. |
| 16-18 Mar 2027 | AI Context New York on 16 Mar and Edinburgh activities overlap GTC | Choose between agent engineering, customer experience, and the broader NVIDIA ecosystem. |
| 23-26 Feb 2027 | Warsaw, ICAART, Austin, AgenticCon, and MLDS Bengaluru overlap or run back-to-back | Select by region and technical objective; one delegate cannot cover the full group. |
| 14-16 Sep 2027 | Berlin roadshow is followed immediately by AGNTCon + MCPCon London | Consecutive dates leave little travel margin. |
| 15-22 Sep 2027 | AGNTCon + MCPCon London precedes HumanX Amsterdam | A potential technical-plus-commercial trip, subject to agendas and meeting plans. |
For Europe-based engineering teams, start with AI Context London or Warsaw, AI Engineer Europe, and AGNTCon + MCPCon Europe. For India, compare the two MLDS editions. Research teams should prioritize the published papers, workshops, and submission tracks at AAMAS, ICAART, and DAI.
A closer look at the strongest specialist options
AGNTCon and MCPCon for open agent infrastructure
The North American edition runs on 22-23 October 2026 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center. Its published program covers agent engineering, MCP, evaluation, security, interoperability, and multi-agent infrastructure. The 2027 editions are announced for 28-29 April in San Francisco and 15-16 September in London. Both are save-the-date announcements with program details still pending. [1,2,35]
Uvik Software recommendation: prioritize the 2026 program for implementation detail now. For 2027, choose the region that suits your team and wait for the agenda before committing. Bring questions about authentication, failed tool calls, and release testing.
If tool integration is your immediate bottleneck, discuss MCP server development with Uvik Software. A useful conference outcome is a clearer integration specification you can put into engineering work.
Agent Conference for enterprise adoption
Agent Conference takes place at New York Hilton Midtown on 17-18 May 2027. Its positioning spans enterprise leadership, technical builders, and industry applications. Tickets are open, and the organizer lists a rolling call for proposals. The detailed 2027 agenda is still developing. [3]
Choose it to compare adoption across business functions or meet potential implementation partners. Before buying sponsorship, ask the organizer for evidence that your target buyers attend and define the meetings you need.
Berkeley Agentic AI Summit for research and industry exchange
Berkeley RDI and the Responsible Decentralized Intelligence Foundation announce the 2027 summit for 20-21 August in San Francisco. The published scope includes frameworks, evaluation, infrastructure, safety, governance, and deployment. Detailed speaker information is still developing. [4]
We shortlist Berkeley for technical leaders who want research exposure alongside startup and industry discussions. The 2027 announcement specifies San Francisco, so do not assume the university campus is the venue.
AgenticCon for teams building an internal AI platform
AgenticCon is scheduled for 25 February 2027 in San Francisco. Its published tracks address the infrastructure agents run on and the organizational work needed to operate that infrastructure. Topics include execution, context, evaluation, identity, security, and observability. [5]
Choose it when several teams are rebuilding the same access controls, monitoring, or deployment tools. The useful outcome is a decision about shared infrastructure and product-team ownership. Roundtables require an invitation.
Paris AI Agent Summit for European implementation teams
The Paris event runs on 9-10 March 2027 at Espace Saint Martin. Its program combines business use cases with questions about engineering and trusted deployment. [6]
We recommend it for teams assessing agent projects in France or the wider European market. Check session languages and workshop depth. Bring a specific architecture or business case to test against the presentations.
Agentic Expo for product comparison
Agentic Expo is scheduled for 23-24 March 2027 at Olympia London. Its trade-show format centers on agent products, live demonstrations, and supplier conversations. The organizer identifies it as a first edition. [7]
Bring one workflow and ask vendors how they would handle the same failure cases. Compare data access, approvals, integration effort, and running costs. The published visitor and exhibitor figures are forecasts for a first edition.
Edinburgh and Agentiq World for customer service agents
The European Chatbot & Agentic AI Summit holds its main conference on 17-18 March 2027 in Edinburgh, with networking activities on 16 March. Agentiq World lists Amsterdam on 25-26 November 2026 and Berlin on 7-8 April 2027. These events are relevant to conversational AI, voice, customer experience, and commerce. [8,16]
For customer-facing workflows, ask how a system detects uncertainty, hands work to a person, and prevents an incorrect action. Measure successful resolution, not just the number of conversations automated. Review Uvik Software’s AI chatbot development services if the project combines retrieval, business-system access, and human escalation.
AAMAS for multi agent research
AAMAS 2027 runs from 3-7 May at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hanoi. It is the specialist research conference for autonomous agents and multi-agent systems. The main-track paper deadline was 8 October 2026, before this article’s verification date. Other calls have separate schedules. [9]
Choose AAMAS for research questions, academic collaboration, or recruiting people with depth in agents. An enterprise buyer primarily comparing packaged tools may find a product exhibition more directly useful. Read the calls before assuming a deadline for one track applies to all submissions.

Events to monitor before assigning a travel budget
Interrupt by LangChain and ACM CAIS 2027: the official pages inspected did not establish a 2027 date. Keep them on a watchlist without copying forward the previous year’s dates. [31,33]
Agentic AI DACH 2027: a current external listing associated with IQPC advertises 23-24 February in Berlin. The main official site was not available for a full date recheck, and the external page’s fetched and indexed versions differed. Treat this as a lead to verify with the organizer, not one of the 52 calendar entries. [34]
How to choose an agentic AI conference for your team
Start with the decision you want to make after the event. A senior engineer evaluating tool permissions needs a different agenda from a founder seeking distribution partners. Use the Uvik Software conference selection scorecard below to compare your options. It is a planning framework, not a measured ranking.
Give each criterion 0, 1, or 2 points. Use 0 when evidence is absent, 1 for a partial fit, and 2 for a strong fit supported by the current program or confirmed meetings. The maximum is 10. Unknown information receives 0 until it is verified.
| Criterion | Evidence needed for 2 points |
|---|---|
| Workflow relevance | Several sessions or demos address the specific problem your team owns. |
| Engineering depth | The program includes concrete implementation detail, workshops, or research you can use. |
| Useful people | Relevant speakers, peers, or suppliers are named and meetings are realistic. |
| Program certainty | Dates, access terms, and enough agenda detail are published to plan the visit. |
| Cost and follow-through | The total commitment fits the budget and an owner will apply the findings. |
Do not let the total override a basic requirement. If your goal is hands-on MCP work, an event without a suitable technical session is a weak fit even if the venue and networking look attractive. If the use case itself is unclear, Uvik Software’s agentic AI consulting services can help assess the workflow, architecture, and business case before a build starts.
Budget for time as well as tickets
Include the ticket, travel, accommodation, local costs, and staff time. An illustrative visit with a £500 ticket, £800 travel, three hotel nights at £180, and £160 local expenses costs £2,000 in cash. Adding three workdays valued internally at £600 per day brings the planning total to £3,800. These are example inputs, not market-price estimates.
Set a concrete outcome before spending: an architecture decision, a supplier shortlist with evidence, a research collaboration, or a set of qualified meetings. Record the outcome after the trip rather than treating badge scans or session attendance as success.
Seven questions to bring to an agent demo
- Which systems can the agent read, and which can it change?
- What requires approval before an action runs?
- How does it recover from a failed or repeated tool call?
- How is task completion measured against a baseline?
- Which failure cases are included in the evaluation set?
- Can the team trace actions, cost, latency, and escalations?
- Who owns the system after launch, and how is a faulty release stopped?
Use the same questions across demos so comparisons remain consistent. If you already have an agent, Uvik Software’s LLM evaluation and observability service can help test failure cases and trace production behavior. For stateful Python workflows, see our LangGraph development services.
Calls for speakers and research submissions
Speaking can be a more useful objective than passive attendance when you have original implementation evidence to share. Submit a concrete result, architecture lesson, or failure analysis. A services pitch is a poor substitute for a technical contribution.
| Event | Submission position on 17 Oct 2026 | Next action |
|---|---|---|
| Agent Conference 2027 | Rolling call for proposals; organizer states no deadline [3] | Review the themes and submit a non-promotional proposal. |
| AAMAS 2027 | Main track closed; Blue Sky abstracts 5 Nov and papers 12 Nov; tutorial proposals 10 Dec [9] | Check the specific call, eligibility, and deadline timezone. |
| Berkeley Agentic AI Summit 2027 | Speaker proposal details described as coming soon [4] | Monitor the official page; do not invent a deadline. |
| Conf42 AI Agents 2027 | CFP link marked open [10] | Check submission requirements and closing date. |
| ICAART 2027 | Position/regular paper deadline 22 Oct 2026; workshop, special-session, and abstract deadlines 3 Dec [38] | Match the submission to the correct track. |
| NVIDIA GTC 2027 | Poster deadline 10 Nov 2026 at 17:00 Pacific Time [48] | Submit original technical work meeting NVIDIA’s criteria. |
Sources and editorial method
Uvik Software compiled this calendar from official event, foundation, university, government, and organizer pages. The 52 upcoming entries comprise 51 with dates published on official sources and one, Agentic Transformation Summit, corroborated through participant ARIS. Watchlist items and five past editions are excluded from that count. Event names are linked in the calendar; the numbered sources below make the verification trail explicit.
Uvik Software selects events for their relevance to agent engineering, research, or enterprise adoption.
